Ian Kruger: (Managing Director) [ian@blueriverstone.com] Ian has worked as a journalist and relationship manager for ITWeb, special project editor for the Journal for Convergence. He is currently doing research for his MM in IT evaluation methods.
Dr Andrew Thatcher: [andrew@blueriverstone.com] Andrew is a lecturer of industrial psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand, with a particular interest on the impact of technology in the workplace. He teaches in Ergonomics, Research Methodology and Engineering Psychology. His research interests include cognitive and social aspects of human- computer interaction, Mental models, Impact of the Internet on education and on developing countries, WWW usability, WWW search behaviour patterns
Catherine Bronstein [cate@blueriverstone.com] Catherine Bronstein, our associate in the United Kingdom . Cate has over 10 years experience in operational and project roles in the financial services sector. At Investec she integrated the acquired factoring division into the group, turning a demotivated group of people into a high performing team. She has extensive experience of establishing systems and processes, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement, for blue-chip banks including Barclays and Lloyds TSB. At the latter, she designed a performance measurement framework to determine the business benefit achieved through their e-Enablement initiatives. After completing an Ashridge MBA, she focused on consulting and project management and has since provided strategy, people, financial and operational consulting services to a broad range of companies, with projects managed on behalf of PSL for UBS, International Wildlife Reserve Development (Cyprus) and several UK and South African based financial outsource providers. Her capability in project management is demonstrated by an incredible track record of on-time and in-budget delivery.
Basil Bezuidenhout: [basil@blueriverstone.com] Basil is a qualified statistician. He worked at the Medical Research Council (MRC) as a statistician then the Epidemiology Research Unit of the Medical Bureau for Occupational Diseases (MBOD) as a Senior Statistician. Following this he held the position as Group Epidemiologist at AECI. He then lectured quantitative techniques and research methodology at Educor campuses (Damelin and Midrand Graduate Institute) and was appointed National Academic Head for Statistics at Damelin. He is currently a statistical consultant on various market research projects and statistics facilitator for the Services SETA.
